PLOT OVERVIEW

Japan changed forever when mysterious portals opened up to Mato, a hazardous alternate dimension teeming with monstrous Shuuki. Inside this hostile realm grows a miraculous fruit known as the Peach, capable of granting supernatural powers to anyone who consumes it—with one massive catch: the fruits only grant these abilities to women. Consequently, a matriarchal society has risen, governed by the elite female warriors of the Demon Defense Force. Enter Yuuki Wakura, an ordinary high school graduate feeling sidelined by a society where he has no inherent value. His mundane life takes a chaotic turn when he accidentally slips through a Mato gate and finds himself cornered by ravenous monsters.

Just as death seems certain, Yuuki is rescued by Kyouka Uzen, the fiercely ambitious commander of the Demon Defense Force's 7th Squad. Kyouka possesses a unique ability called Slave, which allows her to tame and draw out the hidden potential of beasts—but she needs a willing partner to make it work. By binding Yuuki to her will, she transforms him into a powerful, monstrous form capable of tearing through Shuuki. However, this contract comes with a bizarre, intimate catch: once the battle ends, Kyouka is physically compelled by her own power to reward Yuuki with a physical sensation or favor proportionate to his combat performance. Together, they must navigate deadly dimensional threats, political friction within the squads, and the increasingly complex boundaries of their master-servant relationship.

KEY CHARACTERS

Yuuki Wakura: The male protagonist who goes from performing domestic chores to serving as the ultimate frontline weapon. While initially flustered by his submissive arrangement under Kyouka, Yuuki possesses an innate selflessness and tactical mind. His dynamic with the female squad members evolves from mere utility to genuine mutual respect, especially as he strives to prove that a man can stand tall on the battlefields of Mato.

Kyouka Uzen: The proud and relentless commander of the 7th Squad. Driven by a tragic past and a desire to avenge her hometown, Kyouka is willing to use unconventional methods to climb the ranks of the Demon Defense Force. Her relationship with Yuuki is a delicate balance of authority and vulnerability; though she acts as his master in combat, she is forced into highly compromising, submissive positions when paying back his combat rewards.

Himari Azuma: A fiery member of the 7th Squad who initially looks down on Yuuki but slowly develops a complex rivalry and attraction to him. Coming from a prestigious family of warriors, Himari struggles with feelings of inadequacy, making her interactions with both Kyouka and Yuuki a blend of competitive tension and fierce loyalty.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the relationship between Yuuki and Kyouka in Chained Soldier?
Yuuki and Kyouka share a unique master-and-servant dynamic driven by Kyouka's Slave ability. To unleash Yuuki's monstrous combat potential, Kyouka must bind him to her service. However, the ability forces her to give Yuuki a physical reward afterwards, leading to highly romantic, ecchi, and tense situations that gradually foster genuine affection and trust between them.

Why are only women able to get powers in Chained Soldier?
The supernatural Peaches that grow exclusively in the dimension of Mato only bestow unique abilities and superhuman strength upon females. This biological exclusivity led to the restructuring of human society, placing women in positions of military and political dominance while men generally occupy supporting or civilian roles.
